With over 30 years of hands-on experience in the seafood industry, Andy Tan founded NoriMarine Sdn. Bhd. in 2018 with a clear vision for business growth and market development. As a strategic and entrepreneurial leader, he brings deep industry knowledge, a strong understanding of market opportunities, and the ability to turn business potential into growth opportunities.
Under his leadership, NoriMarine continues to strengthen its seafood sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution capabilities while expanding its product portfolio and exploring new market opportunities. His forward-looking approach and commitment to business development drive the company’s pursuit of operational excellence, strategic partnerships, and sustainable long-term growth.
Prof. Tsai Mei Ling
Director, Office of Marine Science and Technology, National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST)
With over 30 years of research and teaching experience and more than 60 research publications, Prof. Tsai Mei Ling contributes expertise in marine technology and the value-added applications of aquatic by-products.
Through scientific collaboration with NoriMarine, her research expertise supports the exploration of fish-scale collagen extraction methods, biomaterial applications, stability optimisation, and product consistency. These technical focus areas contribute to the development of NoriMarine’s Marine Scale Matrix™ (MSM) technology, with the goal of transforming underutilised fish scales into higher-value marine collagen biomaterials.
